Clubs and activities with young people
Our volunteers are essential to how WE can help. They work directly with children and are valued members of our team being encouraged to contribute ideas and skills.
We are looking for children’s volunteers who can commit for a minimum period of 6 months to work within schools and community groups (mostly term time afternoons) and at leisure settings on a Saturday. Our projects are in Richmond, Teddington or Hounslow (Feltham).
You will need a sense of humour, creativity, tolerance and a desire to learn about and adapt both your own communication style and ‘messy play’ / music activities to meet children’s individual needs.
Volunteering with us will give you an opportunity to strengthen or develop an understanding of;
We have opportunities for those with professional child care, teaching, nursery nurse, speech and language experience to lead groups.
We value the breadth of experience that older volunteers, those with disabilities and those from diverse backgrounds bring to the charity.
So please send your CV and a brief covering letter explaining what you would like to get out of volunteering to info@threewingstrust.org
